National Coalition of 100 Black Women (Greater Miami Chapter) Membership Informational

The Greater Miami Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. will be hosting a membership informational meeting on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:00 am at Florida International University’s Modesto A. Maidique Campus, inside the Ernest R. Graham University Center, Room ...316. The campus is located at 11200 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33199.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. is a national advocacy organization committed to supporting women of color through leadership development, networking, political action and advocacy, health awareness, and mentoring. The Greater Miami Chapter has a long and successful history of providing public service programs to the residents of Miami-Dade County. Since 1992, NCBW has been committed to providing a variety of community-based programs in the South Florida area such as our Women’s Empowerment Conference, Just Us Girls Mentoring Program, Ready-Set-Life Program benefitting young women aging out of foster care, teen summits, workshops on career, health, and financial management issues, and through partnerships with like-minded civic and community service organizations. We are here to develop, mentor and support the next generation of women leaders in South Florida!

Like the national chapter, our membership is powerful and diverse. Our mission is to be an advocacy organization that seeks to empower women of African decent through programs and actions, via networking, leadership development, political action, and mentoring young women.
